This year the theme of our lūʻau is Ka Leo o Ka Pākīpika: "The Voices of the Pacific." Our event will be held on Saturday, April 21st at Pacific Lutheran University's Olson Gymnasium. We chose this theme because we wanted to incorporate the different cultures along the islands of the Pacific such as Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan, New Zealand and Philippines. We love sharing this event with the community because it gives us the opportunity to share the Aloha spirit and diverse cultures through song, dance, and food! We invite you to celebrate this occasion that invites us all to come together to “talk story,” make memories, and get a taste of the various cultures we're going to present!
$1,500 -- Food and Catering budget

Our team is made up of members from Hawai`i Club and the Asian Pacific Islander Student Association. All of us love putting on this production for the PLU community, our friends and family, and for the public. Both of our clubs love to share our cultures through different social activities and we know that this production will bring everybody together to do that. We invite you to voyage through the islands of the Pacific and allow us us to carry it on for the next several years!
